"The hotel restaurant is clearly popular with other than hotel guests so be sure to book a table in peak season and for a good meal with a couple of glasses of wine expect to pay circa Euros a head. The three course tariff...at euros is good value as there is basically a choice of anything off the menu with a few extra costs for the more expensive dishes. Steaks are thick, large and extremely tender and tasty. My wife loved the calves liver whilst the Black Forest Parfait with kirsch soaked morello cherries made me very happy. Service was good, some nice little touches but why they did not first offer us a drink when we sat at the table before ordering food was a mystery to me. On the third occasion we dined there they actually did so! ]As it was warm the staff were keen to offer seating in the pleasant garden so make sure you wear insect repellent if you accept the offer as I did not and paid the price! Finally if staying for longer than a few days then the menu might feel a little repetitive, nice little touches such as amuse bouche' and main course covers being lifted simultaneously so it is clear the owner is keen to lift the standard and it is against the standard of a top quality restaurant I rate the establishment."

"Very cozy small hotel. Very little choice for vegetarians, but available choices are tasty. One risotto, one rosti, ..that's all. But good quality food nevertheless. The best feature was the warm friendliness of the hotel owner who's family is the serving staff. Such friendly and...helpful people, attract you to the place again and again. Breakfast was the best with a fantastic array of breads and cheeses."

"Yesterday evening after the wine carnival tour, to eat something. I can only recommend the old Zunft to anyone! Super great food and super friendly staff (this is unfortunately not self-evident today). 100% more recommended! We will definitely see each other again!!!!"

"Being an unconditional of the traditional flambée pie, at Made in Franz I was conquered by the way to sublimate the recipe. The goat:ail bears I can't see in painting was a fairy tale for my palate. We also enjoy the drinks we don't find everywhere and desserts. All for a good quality price ratio. With in addition a most enjoyable service"
