Stoped off for a quick refresher, had scones with cream and jam and a coffee. Lovely setting and the sound of the locks is surprisingly peaceful £10.80 for 2 people is not a bad price. View all feedback.
What Paul M doesn't like about Caen Hill Cafe:
This is the 1st time i have been to this cafe, and probably the last. I ordered a bacon bap 5 minures after they opened and was told they didn't have any baps but did have brown or white bread. I asked for white bread, paid and went and sat down at a bench outside. Within 2 minutes the sandwich arrived and the bread was lovely. Unfortunatley the bacon must have been precooked and was sitting a while and was hard, dry... View all feedback.
Home made soup with bread is delicious. Close beside Caen Hill locks therefore well worth making a refreshment stop on the way.

The dining area of the local is equipped with chairs / tables, and there's a counter where you can sit and eat. If the weather are right, you can also be served outside.
