We were hungry while out walking and stopped here and were surprised by the vegan options the vegan sandwich and the vegan cranberry scone we tried were both good. A good place for a quick bite, if a bit pricey the way all English Heritage/National Trust spots are. View all feedback.

We got to the cafe at 1pm by which time nearly all the food options had run out. My jacket potato with tuna was very nice but about the smallest jacket potato I've ever seen served. I wasn't told that the hot drinks are left at the end of the counter, I was expecting it to be brought to the table at the same time as the hot food, so after a long wait I had to go and find the lukewarm drink where it had been left.
