Just popped in for a cuppa but as well as a cup of tea, the Cheese scone, well what can I say just FAB Fresh, and the young staff very good well done team

"Just had a random meal out to mark the last night of a short holiday, chose this Italian pizza place as we've been meaning to try it for a while. It was really special. The calamari starter for two was fantastic, really crisply fried batter with a gorgeously dressed salad and mayo dip. G then had a pizza and I asked if they would do a calzone no problem, any pizza could be done as a calzone. Both the pizza and calzone were fabulous, crisply finished, with out any hint of being over done. Everything freshly made on the premises, big bags of flour in the shop rather made the point, with genuine Italian owners running it. All in all, a five star experience, really friendly, we had a long chat with Ivano, the owner, who was a delight to talk with. Will definitely be going back again."

"My husband and myself were visiting bath for the Christmas market and were delighted we were going to be in Bath on the same day as old friends we hadn't seen for a few years due to covid and geography. We chose the grumpy baker due to reviews and were not disappointed. We were there for a good few hours and with cases as we were flying home straight after the lunch. No one objected or said we were in the way. We had coffee, toasted Panini's, then tea and delicious cakes. We had not met the children before and basically had a wonderful time in what felt like our living room. The café was busy, pleasant ,welcoming and the staff were always smiling and helpful. I can see why so many families go there. Clean and with lovely food reasonably priced. If I lived in Bath I would be a regular visitor. Merry Xmas to the very happy staff at the Grumpy Baker."

"One of the best restaurants of bath. very surprised to see that there is not a Michelin star as it is on this standard with eating and service. some of the dishes were very inventive and not their usual “modern French cuisine” that made it refreshing. it was also a nice note that the cook come to deliver some of the dishes and talk about them. certainly made the whole experience more personal."

"Excellent evening at Sotto Sotto right from the moment we arrived. Great welcome, excellent service throughout. Loved the venue itself, very atmospheric. As for the food ... absolutely delicious. My husband reckoned the steak was one of the best he's had. I went for the vegetarian pasta, the mushroom and gorgonzola sauce was really good. Our desserts, chocolate mousse and hazelnut semifreddo, we're equally lovely. I can definitely recommend and can't wait to return."

"This is a very friendly traditional pub, much favoured by residents of Royal Wootton Bassett. It's position just off the high street, near the town's famous old town hall which is raised up on pillars, is one of continuity with local history you can count on it to provid you with a traditional English pub experience. They have just updated their menu, this caters for all tastes, old and new and those with food allergies. They have an excellent choice of drinks, from cider, beer, spirits to a variety of modern coffees. Parking is not a problem, there is a large council car park available just around the corner outside the Sainsbury's supermarket, which is just a 5 minutes walk away, or you maybe lucky to find a free space on the street. Recommend a visit, for a drink or a meal. Am sure you'll receive a warm Wiltshire welcome."
