A very nice country pub with a welcoming landlord and a nice selection of beers. The food was very good and it was nice to see a specials board which you don’t see often these days. This pub is definitely one to avoid. The menu is shallow,to say the least. We ordered the Fish Chips, which took about an hour to arrive. It was quite plain to see that the fish was out of a packet was dripping in grease. The chips, all 9 of them came in a small enameled cup. Upon biting into one I had a mouth full of cooking fat.
