This pub has been closed for several months, but it was worth the wait for it to open with a new team, wonderful Sunday lunch in a community owned pub which is family run. You can have a selection of starters mains and puddings, for a set price for 2 or 3 courses. Very disappointed with the Sunday lunch here today. Service was slow, beef undercooked and so tough had to ask for a steak knife. Vegetables also undercooked, everything was lukewarm. We did complain and got a reduction on our meal but no apology from the manager, although the waitress was very apologetic.
