We visited the Duke for lunch on Sunday there were seven of us. The food was excellent and could not be faulted. Service was great to such a change to see a family working together happily and enjoying what they do. I have been to other restaurants locally but they all though more expensive do not compare to the Duke. So if your looking for great food and atmosphere The Duke is the place to visit. read more.

What Mrdizzyh doesn't like about The Duke:
I met an awesome old friend at the Duke at the end of July. The service was very unfriendly and the atmosphere cold. We had 2 ploughmans. The lettuce was limp and yellow and generally a very poor meal. I'd heard it was good there and felt embarrassed to have suggested we eat there.
