"We had a table booked in the conservatory for 6pm Easter Sunday. Service was very good, atmosphere was lovely. Good choice of menu. We had a variety of starters, particularly enjoyed the battered mushrooms. Mains we had delicious salmon with delicious rich sauce and new...potatoes, roast chicken, and lamb shank with mash which was to die for. We shall definitely come back again."

"It started off well although I find it irritating these days that hosts do not indicate to you if table service or at the counter. Nice ambiance and once I had gone to the counter and ordered a ploughman's I thought great place. My latte was served. The ploughman's that arrived didn't quite look like the website photos. But had the cheeses. The pickles and chutney were a bit laim. Salad ok but the bread very doughy. Half way through my eating a dog was sick next to me. I Left.."

"We decided to treat ourselves to a curry tonight after quite a few months. All of it was disappointing. Items were missing from the order and one meal was very oily and not particularly appetising. We tried phoning but there was no reply. A really disappointing treat. ."

"From beginning to end this was an amazing experience. we've never ever ordered for a mea just takeaway and it was always fantastic! we finally had one night for ourselves, so we thought we were going for a meal for one. they wore all masks, looked very hygienic, they are all super attentive and looked after everyone we asked. eating was amazing as usual perhaps a little less sauce than in takeaway, but the nan brot was only fresh and absolutely devine. every aspekt was just fantastic, it's a little hidden from the sky, we'll be back soon. we were supplied from the min we went until the min we left, even g with a free drink on the house. a must try and will recommend to family and friends."
