"What an absolutely beautiful property and restaurant. We dined for lunch and the food was exquisitely delicious! The service is fantastic and the restaurant is beautiful sitting out overlooking the dam. We had duck spring rolls and they were generously loaded with beautiful duck meat, as a duck lover I also had the duck for mains, so tender and tasty. "Very disappointing. The share menu I found quite rich and fussy ! The flank steak was tasty but left half the serve due to being very fatty it was all very sweet including the damper style scone . Normally I can’t resist fries but they were limp and fatty with a stale oil taste . They were taken off the account but had a difference of opinion wth the waitress who said it was the truffle taste I didn’t understand . Hmm love truffles and rarely leave a good chip behind shame we could not agree on that , which just made me crosser as they were awful . The celeriac dish was tasty and wine selection good . Used to live coming to this restaurant but won’t be back !"
