"Genuvinity is 0%. Unacceptable rules in this restaurant. If someone orders a porotta he has to order each curry for each set of porotta even though they don't want 2set of curry, which is the rule by the staff who is in the billing department, We ordered one curry and he forced us to order one more curry and the curry was extra for us. When the time of billing we asked the reason He said that he has many expenses is so we have to order like it. "Had to complain that the coffee was cold, the server and his lackey thought it would be good customer service to laugh at me. Perhaps with future customers show some empathy, apologize and ask if you their is anything you can do to resolve the...problem. Not laugh. The server then went and stood outside for a smoke. Doesn't look very professional but thats just my opinion."

"Decided to eat there with the family on Friday evening. Travelled all the way from Fair Oak having checked the opening times (12.00pm to 9.30pm). The place was closed. All the chairs were on the tables. I wouldn’t have minded but there was no note explaining why and more importantly no note apologising. Wasted trip…thanks"

"A really nice pub with many tables outside on the grass. they have a tent area for the rain. excellent covid logs and ordering is a brise through their online page. good selection of beer, apple and ales."

"Chinese food is normally a hit and miss, but when you come at 1500 in the afternoon, you open the entrance door on the ground floor with stair leading up to the restaurant and you can hear Chinese spoken all over, that can only be right! and it was, very good dim sums and the main courses were great too. We compare it to London china town restaurant and this one is def. one of the ones that has better dim sum. You know its good, when 95% of the guests are Chinese. Cheung fun was excellently thin and generous prawn sizes."

"Treated by friends for my 50th birthday on Saturday 2nd April 2022. Probably the best restaurant meal I've ever had. Lady who runs the pub was charming, friendly, attentive and a fabulous host. Food was amazing and for the first time in a long while i actually got vegetables with my braised lamb, which was perfect. Desserts were gorgeous, wine fantastic, as was the company of good friends. In fact we were there for 3 1/2 hours which shows how good it was. Highly recommended. Will definitely go back"
