"It is a wonderful place, but they still play gestapo and ask for their papers. please do not go to this restaurant until they change their gestapo discriminatory policy. there are so many more places to go in the opposite. do not feed this kind of business."

"We had a wonderful stay in scribners. first the personal was warm, attentive and never seemed to be rushing. we brought our dog and were so glad to find a pupstatian gift for him in the room that contained tasty and a toy. there was also a nice note that was addressed to us. off the lobby is a charming guest lounge with pool, fireplaces and loads old books. great Wi-Fi access throughout the entire square. my only criticism is that the furniture wasn't super comfortable in the king loft room. the bed was great, but I would have preferred a traditional couch below. a last note: the soap rust soouo good that we bought a bottle to take home. we loved our travelled away! many thanks!"

"Great place for a drink and a snack. There is a wide selection of beers, and variety of snacks. We had the French Brie starter, which was basically toast with melted Brie and some apple slices and almonds. Many interesting pieces of local history decorate the space."

"This restaurant is 45 minutes away but we would make a special trip to go there. It's rustic and cozy and everyone is welcoming. The wait staff is excellent. The Autumn Caramel Apple Cider Martini is a dream."

"Visited there to get lunch and coffee during our visit to a nearby town. When we walked up, the front door was open wide but nobody came to visit after several calls to the back. Then we saw the posting from the health department that the restaurant was closed down and left. While across the street, we noticed that they were letting people into the cafe by appointment via what seemed to me as on the sly and contrary to the posting. I wish them well, but now it seems they are only open to special friends . The owner has posted a rebuttal telling me most of my post is a lie, but without providing her side of the truth . The photo does not lie."
