I keep reading alot of negative reviews on tripadvisor for O'Connor's. We were recommended this chippy from a friend, and i am so glad we took her advise against the reviews.We were served by a really friendly Irish girl who went above and beyond to get me an authentic Scottish chippy experience by making me 'chippy sauce' that we have back home in Edinburgh. Had a takeaway from here. On the plus side the staff were friendly and the fish was lovely with a crispy, if slightly thick, batter. The let down was the chips! As a Brit I know a good chip and it wasn't these. Undercooked and pale, yet still managing to be soggy, they were left on the plate. View all feedback.

Keep wanting this place to WOW meDon't get me wrong the fish is great and the service is nice and friendly.
