I've visited the pub a few times now, the bar staff are always friendly, we always feel welcome and they are great with our little boy. There is a good selection of core and local beers and the food is fantastic (Try the roast on a Sunday) very good food for a very reasonable price, well worth a visit if you're in the area. Booked a room for a birthday party today but got there and no booking on their records therefore no food to feed guests as a Sunday. This is the 2nd time that we have had an issue here. If you are going to book for an event here then you need to double check then check again. Fortunately we found another pub that could accommodate us all for dinner and hold my grandson’s birthday party. View all feedback.
