"Had a Sunday dinner at Troy - my third time - always happy with food and service. They were very accommodating to our special requests and had great platters to satisfy one vegetarian. There are a number of lamb choices, as well as standard middle eastern flare. A lot of the food is cooked on a large flaming grill. This is an "upscale" restaurant - as many middle - eastern places are very casual/no liquor- I think this place is Turkish actually - pretty much fine dining - although our seats on the patio felt casual, and we had fun. This place has Novas Scotia's famous Nova 7 Sparkling wine on tap! Give it a try."

"We have been enjoying the winter specials at Blomidon Inn. When there is a January February lull, we try to go for supper at the Blomidon Inn. We began by picking the dinners we really liked, Coquilles St Jacque, Prime Rib, Lobster Linguine are examples....Our table was ready when we arrived, we had a friendly efficient server and were always greeted with a smile. The door was hot when it arrived, very tasty, with interesting healthy vegetables such as spiraled squash. The setting lovely with candlelight, you can forget about the chilly night outside and enjoy a relaxing meal... perfect every time!"

"The lady making food wasn't very friendly. Gave someone's food to someone else and told that person to take the other person's food, which wasn't the same. Never offered to remake them the right item. I was served by a different person who was very nice. I ordered 2 timbits, and they gave me 4."
