"Had an amazing experience here with my boyfriend and his mom. We stopped in for lunch on our way to some vineyards in wolfville. The owner was wonderful, very engaging and knowledgeable about the local wine offering. We will definitely return!"

"A wonderful meal, in a comfortable setting, served by an excellent staff. Although disappointed that the lamb had been taken off the menu, we thoroughly enjoyed the charcuterie board to share as a starter, the boar and cassoulet. Finished perfectly with a butter tart with ice cream and the selection of cheese. All of this accompanied by the Grand Pré Castel Vintner's Reserve. The restaurant reminded us of a typical Swiss restaurant; sparsely decorated with furnishing of light coloured hardwoods. I think what made the night special though, was the service. Picking up on my wife's comment that our wine selection was one of her favourites, one of our servers brought a 2014 vintage, that although it was a small gesture, it made us feel special. Both of the servers took time to engage us in conversation, and although busy always had a few more words to share about the menu, the restaurant, and the winery. I'm not sure if we mentioned it, but it was our 26th wedding anniversary that night, and would like to say thank you for making the night exceptional. I would highly recommend Le Caveau to anyone looking for a fine dining experience while visiting the Valley and environs!"

"We hired Cocoa Pesto Catering for a private family event. The food was absolutely phenomenal! The beef tenderloin was the most tender I have ever tasted! The appetizers and desserts were also stellar. The service was friendly and professional. We could not have asked for a more positive experience. They cleaned up and left a spotless kitchen, even leaving the left overs in doggie bags in the fridge. I would highly recommend using them for any event!!"

"This diner is located in Grand Pre and is a diner and motel combo. This is a really popular spot and is surprisingly large so there is plenty of seating the front section is air conditioned. The food here is fresh and very reasonably priced, so we didn't mind the wait. They have some interesting choices on the menu, such as a hotdog competition (you vote on your favourite), as well as some very different hamburger toppings. The pies alone are worth the trip, and come in several varieties."
