"Just home from our second annual St. Paddy 's visit, and loved it as usual! The Deluxe room is an awesome two-bed suite with a 'dry tub '...can 't explain how much fun this is! lol The bar, affectionately nicknamed 'The Boot ' by the locals, has fantastic food, cold beer, and top-notch service!! Can 't say enough good about this establishment...definitely Blyth 's best-kept secret!! Can 't wait to return!!"

"Menu is pretty simple basic but the food was good and each day has a daily special ..... the cinnamon donuts are freshly made while you wait (I assume the apple fritters are as well and the donuts were delicious ..... pricing is beyond reasonable .... all three of us ate for $21 ..... Jo was extremely nice friendly ..... very relaxed place ..... they have games available ie: chess, checkers, crokinole etc .... has a drop in feel to it ..... and I love the fact that the pricing is so reasonable that someone on a fixed budget could enjoy a nibble there without stressing their wallet ..... would recommend it as a place to pop in even if just for some freshly made donuts and a hot drink. :"

"We do eat at this location a couple of times each year. I'd say no more than twice a year - we are not from the direct area.The location is clean, but you can tell the owner/franchisee has taught the employees that money and profit is more important than taking care of the customer. Primary example? They count out how many Ketchup packages they put on your tray. Yes, if you ask for more, they will give you ONE or TWO. I just don't understand why the Ketchup and other condiments are monitored so tightly. Also, speaking of condiments - if you order anything extra on your food, that doesn't come with it normally, expect to pay then again too. For example, want some lettuce, no problem - $0.50 charge. They also don't accept any coupons from KFC - which is kinda of annoying."

"We have adopted Castings Public House as our “go to” for all manner of outings. Whether it is just for a drink after a days work or a meal with visiting family and friends, we have never been disappointed. The room is cosy, the staff are stellar and the food excellent.
