this restaurant no longer exists it moved here by gimli, was originally a teehouse, then it was open for lunch. Eating was good, but expensive. no real kitchen....

"Annual pilgrimage to Pizza Place while out for for the Gimli 10 miler. Still among the best pizza anywhere. Excellent ingredients and generous portions. Original pizza oven is far superior in comparison to the conveyor belt toaster oven styles you'll find at Winnipeg take out locations. Great staff and funny owner always make you feel welcome. Keep the tradition going Jim!"

"This little restaurant serves the best pickeral fish and chip dishes with their own tartar sauce recipe! Delicious! They also have amazing milk shakes! They are even available for takeout in the Winter months. So thankful! Kris' Fish and Chips is strategically located right across from the Lakeview Resort. If you haven't stopped in, you should. You will plan your time around their hours next time you pass through. Enjoy!"
