Great ice cream. It has a unique texture. I highly recommend going for the things you might think are weird they are generally the best. Things with lavender for example. So good! View all feedback.
What Ivy Li doesn't like about Chaeban Ice Cream:
Was excited to try the ice cream. Not in the area so I picked some up when I saw it at St.Leon’s. Picked up the Salty Carl as salted caramel is always my fave. Was disappointed The salted caramel tasted a bit burnt to me. I make my own salted caramel so I picked up on this right away.Gave 2 stars as I liked the glass jar concept. I still have 2/3 of a jar left which is rare for me as normally jar of ice cream would be... View all feedback.
Cute ambiance. Polite and kind service. However the ice cream is a SCAM. The price is crazy and it tastes it's horrible. It feels like eating plastic. I guess it's up to personal taste but I am pretty sure I know how an ice cream should be. I couldn't taste nothing, not the milk not anything else. I didn't even feel too good after. I don't recommend, it's overhyped.
Amazing! My wife and I each had 1 scoop. They said we could have 2 flavors in the scoop, so we tried 4 flavors between us. She had Donny Darcocoa and Prairie berry and I had La La lemon and Abir al Sham. All 4 were amazing! Creamy and not overly reliant on sugar like some ice creams. We have been traveling across Canada and of all our ice cream stops it was our favorite!
Funky flavors were delicious. Many vegan options. Parking in back is awesome. Grab it and walk along the river!
Wow! Just absolutely WOW with Chaeban Ice Cream! The every flavor offered and presented the tastes were truly amazing. It tastes homemade using the most flavorful and the most simplest of ingredients. For a first time visitor, it's great to try out their Flights. You can order 4 flavors of a generous scoop of ice cream in 4 separate small dishes. I ordered: Donnie Darcocoa, Almond-o Salazar, Mojito Mint Patti, and Mustang Sally. And for an extra treat: ordered a Sundae: Fun with Carl and Jane. As I mentioned the flavors are rich, creamy (the right kind of consistency), and all around delicious. My default is always a chocolate ice cream and Donnie Darcocoa was intensely rich in the chocolate flavor. I totally enjoyed it. The Mojito Mint Patti surprised my taste buds; I found myself going back to it more frequently. The cafe itself is clean, pleasant, airy-bright, and open. Every where in the location will make a perfect Instagram photo-op. There's even a couple of photo-boxes to take an Instagram pic of your delicious, eye-candy (no pun intended) treat! If you're visiting Winnipeg as I did, this is a definitely a dessert destination you don't want to miss!
Zero stars for the food safety standards as there was a full long women hair inside the pint of ice cream. Five star for the customer service as the person at the store provided a whole new pint and even agreed to refund the whole amount. The flavours were very rich and different.
