What User likes about Evergreen Restaurant:
A unique Asian restaurant that specializes in barbecue. We have sampled other dishes but keep returning for the lean barbecue pork over rice with a garnish of baby bok choy or gai lan.I have called this a mom and pop style restaurant - on the small side with mom as server-hostess and pop in the kitchen. We have literally watched the children grow from servers while in university to adults. View all feedback.

This restaurant is supposed to have amazing bbq pork, but not eating pork, I ate other items. The lemon chicken is amazing. otherwise the food was a little bland. Cashew chicken looked like the peas and cashes were added as an afterthought. and the chicken chow mein was fairly tasteless. Service was amazing, the owner is the nicest person ever. Evergreen has hands down the best bbq pig and duck in Winnipeg! It is amazing and for those who have problems with reactions on msg, there is very little used.
