For those who are faithful to Lenten observances of no meat on Fridays, Joey 's has great Cod or fish as it is referred to in Newfoundland or the province known as the Rock. Very reasonable priced for family dining. I also love the shrimp menu items. Also have chowder soup entrees for cold days or when you want are fighting a cold. read more.

What User doesn't like about Joey's Seafood Restaurants Portage Mall:
ordered 2 separate meals and they split one im half and put it in 2 separate containers but charged us for 2 meals. fish amd shrimp 2 pieces of fish and over 6 shrimp and a ton of fries one order can feed 2 ppl but thats not whati paid for. read more.

Disgusting. Go to the 'fish and chips ' shop on the second floor of Portage Place.

The pickerel was perfectly cooked. I felt guilty ruining it with tartar sauce, which I slather on out of habit.

"Hands down best burg in the city. I challenge you, reader, to find a better burger. Wife had the falafel wrap (might not be on the menu as it?s Nuit Blanche, but it should be) and she gave it a 10/10. Beer is also amazing. Beer is always amazing, in general, but they make a particular tasty number of beers. Beer, food, more beer. Love this place."
