If you don't already know about Sal's, welcome to Winnipeg. The food and service here are terrific, everyone knows that. What I personally didn't know though is they make their own rye bread, and you can buy it by the loaf to take home (pending availability). Highly recommended for toast and Reuben sandwiches. Maybe I dont get the whole Salisbury thing but I don't get how it's rated so highly. The eggs are runny and undercooked. Toast cold. Get asked if I want sausage bacon or ham and get charged extra for ham without being told anything. None of the food gets seasoned yet people love it.
