Went her yesterday with a client.... Possibly the best breakfast I have ever had in Winnipeg. The potatoes were outstanding , the egggs cooked perfectly and the bacon was the best i have eaten in a while.I cant speak on lunch and dinner but if the food is half as good as their breakfast, the meals will be fantastic! Nice atmosphere, great look inside, service was fantastic and reasonable prices. Food we had was pretty average fare; all dishes underseasoned and fairly bland. Not sure I've ever had deep fried potato pancakes before. A nice visit but no need to rush back. View all feedback.
The Eye Opener Diner provides a truly authentic diner experience. Despite visiting on a busy Sunday morning, we were seated right away in a charming setting with red leather booths and a classic eat-at counter. The friendly server accommodated our low-carb menu request without any issues, ensuring our coffee refills were quick and plentiful. We both enjoyed the delicious Winnipegger omelet with kubassa, grilled onions, and cheddar, along with a side of bacon and hollandaise sauce. The food was so tasty that we were tempted to lick our plates clean! We will definitely be returning soon.
This restaurant is easily one of the best choices for breakfast or lunch in town. The food is of the highest quality and prepared extremely well. The staff is friendly, efficient, and once you get to know them, they are downright excellent. The breakfast specials are priced at $7 and they offer a delicious Kulbassa that is not too salty. The eggs are cooked perfectly, which can be a difficult task. They use high quality free range eggs with vibrant yellow yolks. The portion sizes are generous and are prepared by skilled short order cooks who take pride in getting it right the first time. Despite being a regular customer and taking some playful abuse, I highly recommend this place. Make sure to come early or be prepared to wait, as the restaurant only has seating for about 40 people.
I had an excellent experience at this restaurant! The eggs were cooked perfectly, and I really enjoyed the marbled rye bread and homemade jams. The service was quick, attentive, and friendly. The restaurant is popular, so expect a wait for a table.
Was there for a Saturday breakfast. Eggs were perfect. Pancakes a bit chewy. Homemade Jam was excellent and service friendly with the coffee flowing. Overall a very good breakfast experience
Cozy little spot. The service is decent, but a little slow to refill coffee. I had a water, and she never refilled it. They also have lemon water in the fridge. coke comes in a glass bottle, no free refills. Everyone is friendly, and the food is very good. We had breakfast and both of us were very happy with it. They also give you 2 kinds of homemade jam which was awesome, and they have homemade spicy salsa which was good too. Not the best diner ive been to, but definately up there :
