What User doesn't like about Water Lily East Indian Restaurant:
$16.00 buffet dinner - sounds great.... the thing we did not appreciate was the server asking if we wanted things without telling us it was an extra cost. The server asked if our table wanted hot sauce as they do not put hot sauce on the food for the buffet. We thought sure why not put some kick to our meal but little did we know he was charging each hot sauce on our bill WITHOUT informing us. Naan bread is NOT included in the buffet either. We made reservations for 5:00 P.M. and the buffet food was not ready. When the samosa`s came out they were soiled with grease on the bottom. Food overall was okay I am just bothered by the way they go about things charging additional items on the bill without informing us before hand. For this reason I will not go back to this restaurant. We eat here at least twice a month. If your not sure what to order try - chicken pakoda, chana marsala, shrimp korma and butter chicken. The owner knows our order by heart and it's excellent every time! The owner is also very friendly as he talks to everyone in his restaurant. There is a buffet, but we enjoy our usual choices off the menu. I love their food!! View all feedback.

While some reviewers found the buffet lacking, others praised the flavorful dishes available for takeout. The restaurant is known for its generous portion sizes and friendly owner. Regular patrons recommend trying the chicken pakoda, chana masala, shrimp korma, and butter chicken. Although some diners experienced pressure to order additional items, the overall consensus is positive for those looking for authentic and tasty North Indian cuisine, whether dining in or opting for takeout.
