Loyal customer to their lunch buffet. Prices definitely raised on the buffet in last 2 years, but can?t blame them. Definitely a sweet family owned joint. Their food is delicious, always have a great experience. Use to only be one woman manning the front, but she always did her best. Happy to see they have more help now in the front staff. All very pleasant. We will miss China Chefsince we have moved. View all feedback.
What Julio Solis doesn't like about China Chef:
Just left and it was awful. I ordered chicken wings and it was ****, they did not want to give me a refund. DO NOT EAT HERE!!! Save you money and spend it somewhere with good food and good service!!! The chicken veins was **** including the chickenmeat. When I told the server he told that how chicken supposed to look. I?ve been eating chicken for 21 years I know how acooked chicken look. Worse experience of my life!!... View all feedback.
This by far was NOT the best Chinese food I had, but it worked in a pinch and we were really hungry. The free appetizer of roasted Winton strips with a sweet dip sauce was stale. The Pu-Platter was really oily/fatty with a slinging taste of not so fresh oil. Mixed vegetables with tofu were in a heavy sauce and not tasteful at all, but the vegetables were perfectly cooked.... Soft with some crabs left. The waitress was super sweet and very accommodating for all requests. Tea was good and soups were okay. When I went back to the restroom, I got a look at what the cook was eating and wow.it looked great..light and fresh...veggies..fish. I have no doubt that his food tasted. Unfortunately there was nothing like on the menu. I say it's time for this place to throw some of the obsolete, fat, fried, heavy sourd traditional American cuisine and cook for others what they cook for themselves! I guess the restaurant with only 2 patrons while we were there could attract a lot more customers.
Do not have major complaints about this place. The service was good, the lady was friendly. The food that was in the buffet tasted good, but I could say that it was since the early lunch, and to see how they were not really many people in the restaurant) I thought it hadn't been turned recently. I found some things I liked and filled. You could have more variety and try to keep everything filled. I'd come back, but I'm thinking earlier this day. *Upgrade to 4 stars, because the lady has done something that went out for us, brought it to the table, let me go home and still did not ask me. Kindness!
I have the beef lo mine and the Dickton soup, I paid about 12 dollars for it, and I have to say it was exactly what I expected. The beef lo me in was delicious, good noodles, good beef, but the amazed soup had no real taste in it (kinda weak Imo). I'll order from here again, but I want to try something else. Also the lady at the switch was very nice
Great lunch buffet! A good selection of dishes and they all taste great! Great service. If you are looking for a Chinese buffet, start here. $8.90 for lunch! $11.75 with a drink. I'm back!
