Bodefelder Schnitzel Stube - Winterberg

Great schnitzel, good value and full of locals. Would recommend the schnitzel! Staff were really nice too.

We visited Winterberg for a short weekend in the snow and come across this place. On the outside it looks like a bar. We noticed a schnitzel menu on the window and that’s how we discovered this place. Once inside, the locals sits at the...bar and play a dice game. Used to all the tourists come and go. The seating is spacious and the service is fast and friendly. They serve mainly schnitzel in all different flavor and sizes. The normal size is and the XXXL is There is steak and flammkuchen (flat dough with creme fraiche topping and baked in oven).

A street further than the main square you'll find this small restaurant. The best flammkuchen (speck und zwieblen) and schnitzels (schinken und kase) I've ever had. Trust me, I'd tried many different places. Friendly staff. Good prices; maincourses and drinks for You should...go!

This is the right place for carving in winter mountain, a lot of choice and very large portions.

We arrived at 18:30. there were only locals who stare at you as if you were from another star. the bartender and his wife completely ignored us and went after a vain attempt to speak with him, and then went a little further to a very nice dinner in the Greek restaurant.
