We started our tour of the Lady Lever Art gallery with lunch in their basement cafe. Jacket potatoes with more interesting fillings than are usually offered (lovely Chipotle chicken in my case) and a hot drink hit the spot beautifully. The menu was varied, the service good and quick and the ambience pleasing. View all feedback.

I ordered and ate fish and chips. It was OK. On the menu the fish is described as 'white fish ' it certainly was not Cod or Haddock. But the batter (homemade I guess} was light and crispy. Limited choice of beers and wines at premium prices. Service efficient and friendly, basement surroundings pleasant. View all feedback.
