"Wittnau Professorenklave south of Freiburg. The small village on the pass between Hexental and Ehrenkirchen probably has the highest academy density in the population. Each cozy detached house has a view of the Rhine Valley to the Niederen Knee, the building prices correspond to those in Freiburg's preferred residential areas. There was only one question of time until the appropriate gastronomy took its way to its clientele. The angel in Wittnau was an old guest house with small rooms, low ceilings and large tile stove exactly the kind of village restaurant that radiates everywhere. The property has been carefully renovated and modernized, the old herbal garden has been transformed into a free-seat and parking space, the small kitchen now offers Italian cuisine of high quality, but also excellent pizzas that the customer can combine to Gusto and season itself. An always well-deserved patron who also welcomes and approves new guests personally, professional and warm service, and a good selection of wines has provided the angel with a faithful rule both from the place and far beyond. "The operation is constantly very well maintained and always galanic! From our point of view, a meeting in the municipality is completely recommended. All tables were perfectly cleaned and the seats were very comfortable. Grandma and I were present together and each of us ate something else I can claim to have tasted of all the zigzags and it was all good."

"I went to this restaurant with 6 relatives. Most of us were a bit disappointed, with the exception of the person who had porcini ravioli, which apparently was quite good.Overall, the dishes are fairly standard German food. Mine got most of the flavour from salt. Some of my relatives had Schnitzel, and unfortunately were disappointed by the relative amounts of breading and meat. Most other dishes were satisfactory, but not special in any way.The salad bar was not bad, but provided insufficient variety and too many options with mayonnaise.."
