"We stayed with 4 people in the Yellow House, which is beautifully located in the old town of Eltville. The house is an old building from the 17th century. Century, beautifully renovated and offers a nice backdrop. Largest trump is surely the covered terrace overlooking the vineyards on the Rhine. Here you can also sit comfortably outside if the weather doesn't play like that. The wine is good (recommendation: the semi-dry Riesling selection Yellow house but this is also expected in the Rheingau. The food (rieslingsüppchen, grillsteak or pigs Lende and salmon were qualitatively absolutely fine, but without special subtleties in performance and taste. The price performance ratio is fine, but I would like to consider the food as an average. It was annoying, however, that in the late afternoon we had reserved the table for the evening, so to speak, under the butt. On our question whether we will be thrown out, the service explained that would be so .I don't just think to ask if you still stay or if the table is available from the time in question, would surely be more friendly in the classical sense. Conclusion: A nice location to sit outside with beautiful views and one or more glasses of wine. In order to eat, we would no longer visit the Yellow House."

"*Personal friendly*Schnitzel quite OK, nothing special*man sits very tight and a squeezed in there. We had to put a couple on the table, which we didn't like at all. Privacy is then unfortunately not given. But there was no other room. Otherwise it is quite cozy there. The food has unfortunately very disappointed us, you were warbing with Schnitzel weekends. But the scavengers are available in the very normal menu, what was particularly important now? The carvings were not cheaper or bigger... For the price, I get somewhere else better and bigger carvings. I got tired, but my husband didn't. The carving of him was already an insult. There were two very small mini carvings, unpanned (stand not in the map), baked with a little cheese. No man will be fed.The salad was very tasty, could have been more. We had ordered dessert because we were still hungry, it was now tastefully so lala.So unfortunately there is no reason for us to eat there again."
