"My husband and I went here as it had lots of options for gluten free. Our server wasn't very enthusiastic and our steaks under seasoned and our potato sides were ok. We saw many great looking dishes coming out from the kitchen that looked and smelled so good. Maybe, we just ordered the wrong dish? "In a small town of New Minas, located in a mini strip mall beside the movie theater is Chrismaria family restaurant. They serve up Indian cuisine. Both A la Carte as well as a buffet menu. I opted for the buffet dinner which was $17.49. Their a la carte menu offers a lot of choices like butter chicken, curry chicken, even beef or lamb vindaloo. The buffet had about 10 different things. Coming from the big city of Toronto where options are at least 20 different things and served in bigger warming tables, this one was different. But understandably so, since they are serving to a smaller population. So what was on the buffet options Chicken Curry, Butter chicken, Chicken Biryani, Chana Masala, Chicken 65, Pork Chilli, Basmati Rice, Veg Korma, chicken soup, Veg Pakora, and Naan bread. I will be biased here as I do love my Indian food spicy, and say that their dishes lacked that Indian heat level of clean your gut kinda spicy. But that's ok, you can ask for some hot sauce. The best dish I thought they had was the chicken 65 which was chicken marinated in a lot of different spices then deep fried. I mean, it's fried chicken, so it's good. The layout of the resto also is good, 3 4 booths plus about 7 10 tables in the middle. And no, you won't come out of the resto with the smell of Indian food stuck on your clothes. Overall a great experience, and decent food for considering the other options here would be pizza or McDonald's."

"Has ruined me for a lot of other pasta. Warm friendly atmosphere, local beer and wines, warm food, great spot summer or winter. Like it all but normally get the spicy shells. Zingy. The staff is consistently kind and fast."

"My husband and I have been to the Library Pub a number of times in the past. For the most part, these have been positive experiences good food, good service, and a relaxed atmosphere. This last visit, however, was a very different experience. We...visited there around 6 p.m. before going to an event, and had prompt service when asking our drink order. We took a little longer to decide on our meal, but ordered that within 15 mins of arriving. An appetizer and entrees. About 20ish mins after we arrived, another couple arrived and ordered an appetizer. We finished our first drink, and ordered a second. Husband's beer was flat (as was the table behind us) so that was quickly exchanged, and I was informed that the keg for my beer was being changed. Ok, no issues there. Thanks for letting us know. After a while, we noticed that the couple near us had received their order. We stopped our server and asked where our appetizer was. She said she was going to go back to the kitchen to find out. We waited a while, and then had to ask a second time for an update. It turned out our order had gone missing somehow. Ok, fine, skip the appetizers and wait for our entrees. She also tried to say that the kitchen was backed up, but somehow they were able to get the food ready for the couple who arrived after us. When this was pointed out, she was silent for a moment, and then said we made a point. By this time it was around 7:10 p.m., and we had to leave at 7:30 to get to our event. We let her know that if the order was not out by 7:20 at the latest, we'd settle up our bill and leave. (not that we wanted to go out on an empty stomach, but we couldn't be late) At 7:19 (or so), our entrees arrived. Husband's pan fried haddock, the breading was slightly dark, mine was ok. Unfortunately we weren't able to enjoy the flavours of the salads, nor the haddock, as we had to eat quickly in order to arrive at our event in time. I think it tasted good? Before the entree arrived, we asked to speak to a manager she shook her head and quietly said there were no managers on site. Which was shocking to me. There was no attempt to make amends other than the server apologizing over and over. She removed two of our drinks from our bill after our pointing out that there was nothing done to try to remedy this situation, saying that's all she could do. She muttered multiple more apologies as we settled our bill, and left to look after other customers. Had there been communication with us about what was going on (that the appetizer order was lost, or that our entrees were coming, an update on what's going on in the kitchen anything like that), we may have been less frustrated. But being given excuses and apologies, and not having a manager to talk with about our experience really disappointed and frustrated us. I acknowledge that we probably could have let her know our timeline, but we hadn't had to do that in the past so it didn't cross our minds at the time. This was once a favourite place for date night, but we'll be rethinking visiting this restaurant in the future."

"I really enjoy Paddy's. It is a great little pub in Wolfville. I like that they have things going on throughout the week as well as their patio right on main street. I really enjoyed their blueberry beer which they make there as well as the chicken quesadillas. I had the same waitress the couple times I went and she was amazing and even remembered what I drank!!"

"I went to the restaurant side with some friends and overall had a great time! The church has a fun atmosphere and great food! Love how the theme is carried into the meal/drink names in the menu.One friend and I had the Veggie Valley Sandwich, which was flavourful but had a lot of pickled vegetables. It made the sourness a bit overwhelming for us. The bread was also a tad soggy on the bottom due to the sauce being on untoasted bread.My other friends all enjoyed their meals (Righteous Wings, Southern Chicken Sandwich, Power Burger, Fish Chips, Pork Belly Sandwich). The fries are crispy. They also liked the beer flights!Overall, it's a great restaurant and bar! Would recommend to anyone visiting Wolfville ?"
