The Vegan beet/nut burger was really good. Peanut free. Quite much for what you get but it was great.

Disclaimer, Covid practices were very well in place so could have contributed to our poor experience but we 've visited in the past and the food was much better...

Countering the vegan review here maybe a pub restaurant this isn't the place to go for solid vegan options, but they tried. I'm an omnivore and loved everything...

"Tan is a very social coffee house that many people visit everyday as part of their routine. Myself and my sister n law stop by almost everyday. We read the paper listen music we can sing along with. We cant carry a tune in a bucket but we try. We laugh and carry on with the barrista. He is a gem. He is an entertainer. With a vey sassy whit. We wouldn't replace him or any of the other barrista's that work there. We like the coffee, we like the open floor plan the wide windows . But, we love the singing barrista. Please drop by any day. I'm sure to see you pop in. ill be the one singing all the flat notes."

"Four stars because its really amazing, they even have coconut whipped cream but they only have soy milk (which I personally have an intolerance to) and the coffee is not very good. In the vegan-friendly section they have both sweet and savory choices although I’m sure they would accommodate a vegan version of their other ones."

"The best pour over in Nova Scotia area. They call it Slow Brew though. Tomato tomato. Potato potato. If you know what I mean. They have a built-in museum on Mexican coffee farmers’ struggle and how they rose from the bottom with the help of Fair Trade. Coffee for a good cause."

"Had fish and chips for Mom and Dad. They were just fine. They forgot every spice on the spiced pumice (which I love their spice). the frits were cooked by this time, which made them very dry. Dad didn't say he was worried because his fish was super fishy, but he didn't think I was bad, and he didn't eat it all. They were a lot of ketchup to moisten the dried frits. I had the Bacon Marmelade Burger back, it was okay because it was only warm when I ate it, only Goopy is everything. The waitress was very sweet, smiling and very polite! I'm here several times, and I'll say when they make good food, it's really good! But it's a total hit and miss, with more misses lately. Price's okay. I'll probably come back, I always liked the beer."
