What User likes about Connells Bakery:
Surprisingly large bakery selling a wide range of baked goods. We called in for lunch on a very cold, wet and wintery day and enjoyed some very fresh food, great quality and tasty. Friendly staff and good prices. Excellent quality, freshly made pies etc, fresh sandwiches, tea, coffee, drinks - very good range of cakes. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Connells Bakery:
Recently visited Connells for lunch but was really surprised at how early they closed on Saturday so lunch was rushed. The sausage rolls and pies are quite dry and there was hardly any sandwiches left – we arrived before 1pm. Coffee was quite bitter too unfortunately. The place can also get very noisy if there are children there. Prices are about right for a bakery although I have definitely been to better ones. View all feedback.
Always a pleasure to find a gem. Had a Pepper pie and sausage roll for lunch and they were extremely tasty. Well worth the stop and not too expensive.
They have a good selection of bread, pies and cakes. Ready to take away or eat in. Fresh and tasty, reasonably priced.
