What User doesn't like about Country Kitchen Gourmet Pies:
Traveling through on way to Coffs Harbour we always stop at the bakery for a pie which we always look forward to. It was raining heavily and we decided to wait until our return trip in two days time. With this on our mind we were upset to see the bakery closed on Sunday afternoon. We thought the pies from this shop looked good. "We were staying at the Rod n Reel Hotel for the night after travelling for 8 hours. It made sense to eat at the Bistro right beside where we were staying. The menu was ideal for us not too fancy and you understood what each dish meant. Steak was the special of the day on Thursday for $20 and the salad served with it was excellent. I had coconut prawns which were beautiful. Prices were good and the serving was very generous. We were able to sit in front of the big TV and watch our footy team play while we ate dinner. I topped it off with Sticky date that was obviously home made because it was one of the best desserts I have ever had. All in all most enjoyable and if we stay again it would definitely be our choice for dinner. The lovely part about this place was that we sat and chatted to one of the lovely bistro staff (from the night before) the next morning while we ate our breakfast in their beer garden (as the Hotel was not yet open). We had a great chat which made us feel very welcome."
