"What a devoted local following! We visited while passing through town and the line was out the door. Their bacon egg and cheese sandwich is pillowy soft steamy, and their donuts are similarly tender. Boston cream filling was silky and tasted homemade. They have shelves neatly stocked with floury blond sliced loaves and rolls, and their pastry case is full of beautiful cupcakes and a handful of other pastry that I imagine are also good quality. While the line moved a bit slowly, coffee was just okay, and the donut selection was small, they are clearly well-established and serving patrons what they want. Cute place too- a giant dough trough table, huge classic sign and original photos give it a nostalgic touch. The biblical phrases on signs and walls aren’t my cup of tea but it didn’t make my sandwich any less enjoyable! Parking: Tons of parking, especially early morning."

"The good news is that this place is still open given some of the one star reviews. Had lunch there today: first course of pate (full of Provençal flavor! was delicious. The stuffed squash blossoms were fine. Lobster soup was the same as always, although $12 a cup does seem pricey. The Vietnam Ground Pork Salad I ordered tasted off. Like, way off. And ridiculously spicy! I didn't finish it, fearing the worst tomorrow. See screenshot of the menu be warned, it doesn't mention spicy!!"

"Oyster Happy Hour! The best! I have been to Lucas Local times for their Oysters. They are served to perfection. Sweet,fresh,delicious. Never failed us. I had their Lobster cocktail and little neck clams as well. Delicious. One day I will go for the Bison short ribs . The salad was delicious as well. Heard someone rave about the Venison dish. The bartender is the nicest man and always greats us with prompt service and a smile. I’ve eaten oysters from NYC to Woodbury. Simply the best. Unisex bathrooms could be a little cleaner so I gave the ambience a star. Otherwise it is very nice."

"My husband and I went to Timo’s during our day trip to Sitges. The whole thing was a fantastic experience from front to finish. In places like Stiges, that are heavily touristic, you never what you’re going to find, but this was great. The employees were local and the goal of the restaurant was to provide a nice experience and good food. We had great conversation between us and with our waiter, and the food was beyond great. Since we were ordering as we went along, at some point the dishes were chosen for us. And each dish brought out hit the nail on the head. This was a memorable experience and also at reasonable prices. This place is a true 10/10."
