From friendly, smiling front of house staff to bang on, おいしい Japanese cuisine which is the best I have had outside of Tokyo, this place ticks all the boxes! "I have been visiting here for many years and love the bread, coffee and food in general. Today I attended a sourdough workshop and cannot recommend it highly enough. The 'mystery ' was taken out of sourdough and I learned so much. We were well fed and watered and left with course notes, a certificate, leaven, flour to feed our leaven, and numerous delicious loaves of bread. It was worth every cent. A thoroughly enjoyable day!"

"Well stuck at a lovely accom in Lancefield with no food and no car! Was planning on eating at the accoms restaurant but was CLOSED. So i called Lancefield Takeaway...Rob the owner offered to deliver steak sandwiches etc to me but I had no cas on me to pay. So Rob offered to come pick me up so i could get cash out and pickup my food and drop me back to my accom! Just finished a delish steak sandwich and chunky fresh cooked chips...Thanks Rob! Country hospitality at its best!"
