"My wife and I just ate there for the first time. Pad Woonsen, Coconut Shrimp, Fried Rice, and Egg-Drop Soup. We thought Cida Thai in Countryside was the best Thai place, but VIP is far better. Very fresh and flavorful. Clean, cozy atmosphere. We’ve now been there four times and it has been 5 star each time."

"The food was not very good. There appeared to be more focus on the chili cookoff happening in the afternoon than what was going on in the restaurant. Every single item had vinegar or wine on it. I would never have expected white wine on spinach or crab cakes. The bread, while warm, was served with rock solid butter how can that even be spread? The filet was tough and looked like it was pounded into a flat iron steak. The fingerling potatoes were a combination of different types of potatoes which was odd to be eating blue/purple ones. It wouldn't have been so bad if all of these difference were on the menu they were not."
