"I had lunch with my grandson a couple months ago and again today with my hubby. I had fish and chips both times. Very delicious. The owners and servers were exceptional. Highly recommended! Parking: There is a parking area in back of the restaurant and some parking on the street. I had been here a few times and hadn't noticed ithe parking area in the back. Very happy to find it! Service: Dine in"

"Whenever we drive down from NJ to NC, Woodstock is our midpoint lunch stop. After dining twice at the Cracker Barrel, we decided to give Paisano’s a try. Even tho they are an Italian restaurant, we came for the seafood and Paisano’s did not disappoint. Wonderful flavors in their crab cakes, the steamed mussels, and the seafood platter. The clam chowder is thick and hearty. The pizza is a traditional wood-fired oven pizza that was hot topped with gooey mozzarella. The wine was surprisingly delicious too. And the service? Nothing to complain about there. Our meals came timely even though only one server covered the entire restaurant during the lunch hour. Don’t let the humble location fool you into thinking it’s a run-of the-mill pizza joint in a strip mall with a so-so pit stop menu. Even the ambience inside will transport you to a small Italian town where you dine with Al Martini crooning O Sole Mio in the background. There’s a reason the place gets packed in the evenings."

"The Old Dominion Doggery Burger Shoppe was a wonderful find on our road trip. The burgers and hot dogs are perfectly prepared and fresh. The topping choices are excellent as are the variety of sauces. The black bean burger is the bomb, it is very filling. The french fries were hot and delicious. The jalapeño poppers were very good. The restaurant is very clean and inviting. The staff is super friendly and helpful."

"Very kind staff! We came in 10/01/23 at 7:55pm. I figured we'd get it to go, as they closed at 9pm. Proper unspoken etiquette is NEVER dine in, when a place closes in an hour. The owner was sitting down eating, he got up and started getting our drinks for us. We were going to get it to go, when he kindly suggested we dine in and they'd stay open until 9:30 (9:30 is week day hours). We got a VERY generous portion of: Arroz con pollo, Steak Mexicano and Tamales. The chips and salsa were great! The server noticed my car lights were on and kindly told me. Thanks you all. We promised we'll be stopping by, once a month."
