"A new pizza place close to the locks. You can eat in or take out. If you eat in they still give you the pizza in boxes but do provide plates and cutlery. You could eat inside or outside. The crust had cornmeal on it and was the best part of the pizza (for me). The salads were freshly made and delicious. The restaurant and washrooms were new clean and well maintained. The only thing missing was a beer as they are not licensed. But we had one when we got back to the boat. Would definitely recommend."

"First time visiting this restaurant. It was almost an hour from the time we ordered our meals until they arrived. We were in no particular hurry, so all good. There was a one man band who was quite entertaining. All five of us enjoyed our meals and nobody left hungry. I would recommend this place and will probable return if in the area.Kid-friendliness: Family restaurant"

"We were on a little road trip and happen to see the sign Swiss Bear Restaurant and Bakery and my husband said, "they are on the Butter Tar Tour". Well that was enough to make us stop in and purchase one dozen assorted tarts. The place was packed at 11am and was packed when we drove by again at 3pm. It was clean, bright and filled to capacity. We ordered every kind of tart they had which was Raisin, Pecan, Apple, Cherry and Blueberry. The tarts were a little pricey but very good, 1 x Dozen for $30.00. We will definitely be back to try the Schnitzel as we certainly enjoyed the tarts which we shared with family."

"The food was wonderful. We had the delicious pear salad and the ginger and carrot soup - mmm so good, and then we decided on the trout and the lamb - again heavenly, and finished up with the limoncello sorbet and the chocolate cake. Very good with calm and relaxed service.I didn't give this bistro 5 stars because the only let down - albeit a very small one - was that the tables are very close together and we were party to the four ladies' conversation on the next table. However, we will definitely be back soon and will let our friends know about our great little find."
