This is a great, old-style bakery with all the favourites at reasonable prices in lovely Woombye. There is a reason this place is always busy- because people know a good thing when they see it, and they will always come back to a friendly and consistently good place that doesn't dud you over. What User doesn't like about Woombye Bakery and Coffe Shoppe:
Used to be our favourite bakery on Sunshine Coast. A group of 3 meet every Wednesday. Since new owners took over things have changed too much. Last 3 visits the apple pies have come out of the cool room or freezer. Certainly not baked on the day. Pastry is thin dry compared to past. Meat pies have also changed for the worse. Pastry dry thinner not as much filling. Sad to say we will not be returning in a hurry. View all feedback.
When you compare Woombye Bakery to the big chains, they win hands down. Great variety Super friendly Highly visible from the street!!
The pies here are absolutely superb and the carrot cake is delicious. A great little bakery packed with hinterland hospitality. Definitely worth a visit.
