"Usually, The Basil is good. However, the night we were there was unusually busy at 5:30 p.m.! , and they were understaffed. We had made a reservation, so we were seated right away. They sat us at a cramped table, and it was freezing! We waited for 10 minutes for someone to come so we could ask to be moved. When no one came, we moved to an adjacent booth and got chastised for doing so because that booth was for another reservation, and we should have noted on our reservation that we wanted a booth. ? The appetizers came fairly quickly, but the entree took a long time and we found a piece of plastic in it. At least they comped us for the entree. Also, the restaurant was extremely loud. I think they need to do something with the acoustics to remedy that. Overall, it wasn't a very enjoyable evening."

"Our waitress Jackie and the manager Kevin were amazing with the customer service. The food what spectacular. My husband and I had the filet and I could not have asked for a better piece of meat and how it was cooked was perfect. Thank you The City Square Steakhouse."
