it's been a few years since my last visit so was not sure what to expect. the security of the personal was obviously important for them with screens at location and place due to the pandemic. ordering a baby fisher and chips as well as a standard size cad and chips I was pleasantly surprised at the price as well as the size of the portions. even more with the taste, very nice. highly recommended. Not good. Went today to eat in for lunch, haven't been for a while. It wasn't busy at all in the dining area, but small fish chips and scampi took about 35mins to arrive. Fish was all batter hardly any fish, chips appeared over done and dry, scampi bread crumb was a little soggy like it had been sat keeping warm. Fantastic customer support. I arranged a socially distant christmas together for about 45 employees and papas offered to deliver to our workstation. very pleased with the service. would recommend that. thanks, papas.
Extremely clean, lovely friendly and helpful staff with fish freshly cooked on order. Always tasty, good quality and plentiful.

Best fish and chips for along time, not often one gets both fish and the chips are the best ever. Great menu, will be back for sure.
Had a really great experience, came in was greeted with an extremely friendly and welcoming atmosphere, the fish and chips were perfect and I’m usually very picky, the fish was flaky and the batter was crisp. The chips were great and portions were good size overall a great experience. Proper good scran. Great value
