Our family of 4 ate here for lunch. Three people ordered different types of schnitzel, and one ordered flammkuchen. All the dishes were top notch. The service was also excellent. They offered us English menus as soon as they heard us trying to order drinks in German. The server was very friendly and helpful. If we make our way back to Worms, this would be our first stop. I did it. a business. Dinner and had. the Swiss Schnitzel. It was with ham and cheese and delicious. The frits were a little tasteless, but the salad on the other side was good. Not so much beer to choose and the wines are usually German. The service was ok, but could be more friendly.
Nice place to cool after a long day in Worms. If you have good food and a cozy place where they really serve you the great portions ppl to use you from behind in the good ole days, you are right there....nice and very attentive staff, good beer.all in all, OVERWHELMED TREAT
A very authentic place with very friendly staff , of course perfect schnitzels and on of the best pasta tagliatelle with salmon I ever had !
There are some restaurants where I had a meal that I can't forget. One of the few restaurants is this. We left the Dom and our party of six found this place on foot to the car. We had all different meals, but my Sherryrahmschnitzel was the best. I dream of a return one day only to eat there again.
We took a trip with family to Worms when they came to visit and schnitzel was on their bucket list. We did some research and thought this would be the perfect place to try. We were promptly greeted when we walked in the door. The hostess spoke perfect English. The restaurant was fully booked except for the smoking area. We weren't smokers but decided to stay. The menu of schnitzels was extensive and luckily available in English for us!! We ordered the 4 varieties of schnitzels on special: carbonara, wild mushrooms, tomato with mozzarella, ham/egg with herb sauce. Each order also included a salad and choice of fries, croquettes or pan fried potatoes. I also tried the banana weizen beer. The restaurant didn't disappoint. The food was delicious and the different varieties of schnitzels was a great way to showcase one Germany's best dish!!!
