Brilliant welcome, phoned on route to Brass Band contest in Wrexham. Group of 17, all catered for lovely home cooked meals. Watched the match and all enjoyed the food. Would definitely recommend this pub, staff brilliant catering for us all at short notice (30 minutes). Couldn't do enough. Thank you all xx View all feedback.

Thanks for feeding us this evening and making us welcome after a long drive. Lovely food, best pub chips I've ever had.

read moreThe Duke of Wellington in Acrefair is a proper pub serving great food with a friendly atmosphere. While some customers have expressed disappointment with previous experiences, recent visits have shown improvements. The menu offers tasty sandwiches, Sunday roasts, ham and eggs, and other home-cooked dishes. The staff are welcoming and accommodating, making guests feel at home, including kids and dogs. Customers have enjoyed dishes such as Steak and Ale pie, curry, and delicious desserts like Jam Sponge and Apple Crumble. Overall, this pub is recommended for good home cooking at reasonable prices in a welcoming setting.
