Offers food drinks fireplace moose head inside and outside dining weather permitted. Sand volleyball Court swimming pool endless hiking and biking from here then return for a meal and live music. Came to see a band on the outdoor lawn area. Tables and outdoor dining and your welcome to bring your own chair to chill in the shade. Cabins for rent! Little bit of a biker hangout in a good way. "This is a great subway! Jesus was very friendly and helpful. The sandwich he made was fantastic! Much better than any subway in L.A.. The most important thing was that the toaster actually worked here. In L.A., the roasted bread always comes warmed, but chew and gets soggy quickly out of the steam during the wrapping. But at the Phelan location it came crispy like a baguette and was not soggy after sitting in the envelope for an hour. Amazing! Great food! Good job!"

"We go about once every month to visit our son in Palmdale every time we passed by Rick's Roadside Cafe it was always closed. 7am to 2 pm... Today coming home from Palmdale it was finally open it was well worth the wait. Very friendly atmosphere and that was just the beginning... The food was excellent! I had the 4 egg meat lovers omelet and she had the oatmeal. Both our orders were spot on and the waitresses were checking every few minutes to see if there was anything else desired. Definitely will be making the time for return visits."
