Great food and great intention, one must visit in wuppertal. we always come here with the family and we never had a bad meal/experience. the menu remains the same, with great carving.
I spend a lot of time in wuppertal and I always assure you to visit here. the kitchen is usually traditional German and a large selection of steaks. eating is of the highest quality, service is always very good. the location is excellent, about halfway the hills of wuppertal. they get a great view of the city and there are beautiful walks in the forest opposite. atmosphere? German restaurants do not really atmosphere, they are functional. if possible, it fills quite quickly, especially in party groups. the prices are not particularly favorable, but the portions are very large, so they give money, but do not expect to find steaks for under euro.
This restaurant simply does not disappoint, brilliant eating, at a great price, beautiful location, especially when the sun shines and they can sit on their terrace. I noticed when we left that they were closed on Mondays.
We visit this restaurant every time we visit wuppertal. we love the service and location. the menu is simple, but the whole food is excellent, German food is best. I think their carvings and rosti take something to beat. I can't wait to go.

Might need to come back for some proper food and book a table on the terrace before ruling this place out. Positive point: they are one of very few places opened on Monday... good to know.
