"As promised, my wife and I visit on a regular basis for breakfast, brunch or snacks. The Cedar serves the best coffee in town, no matter what time of day the coffee is perfect. Service and attitude of the staff is second to none, they always courteous and nothing is too much trouble. All the years we have been going Ed have never had a bad time. Well done to all"

"The food is served by lovely staff.. the food is worth the wait at busy times a chilled atmosphere at quieter times! .. Hygiene is excellent, we go several times a month and have done since they opened, the food has always been outstanding.. Everything is fresh and has so much flavour!! "Lovely cafe garden, very pretty and probably OK for coffee and a cake, but quality of our lunch left a lot to be desired. Overpriced for ordinary fare (ham and cheese from a supermarket packet it seemed). Not good value for money. My smoked salmon pate bagel cost just under £9. For that I got a bagel, thinly spread watery smoked salmon and cream cheese spread (not what I would call pate), 2 slices of cucumber, a little rocket and about half a packet of crisps on the side"
