What Uncle B doesn't like about Great Lakes Chinese:
I'm writing this review out of frustration this time. (3.16.2024) Great Lakes used to be my favorite restaurant for Chinese food. Now, it's hit and miss. We ordered 3 different meals for dinner, and all 3 meals lacked flavor. I also asked for fried rice instead of white rice, but they gave me white rice and charged me $1.00 extra for fried rice that I never received.I'm not sure what's going on lately, but the prices... Absolutely amazing for the price! The chicken fried rice, orange chicken and egg rolls are to die for! Would definitely recommend!
This is one of our local favorite places for take out. They are very kind and their food has always been good.
The best Chinese food I've found anywhere! Lomain and shrimp lobster sauce are my favorites!

They have the absolute best soup. I've been coming here for over 12 years and there hot sour soup is more of a hot and sour stew. and their egg drop soup is always what I use for my chicken soup while I'm sick. This is true comfort food and you would be remiss if you did not try it. Yes is in a strip mall. Yes, it's small but it is one of those local finds that you cannot beat and the people that were here are the absolute best people I've ever met. They remember their regulars like your family get that nowadays. So you got to try this place if you're new to you again. Best soup. I literally go there once a week. Sometimes more if I'm sick
