What User doesn't like about The Swan Public House:
Visited this pub Saturday whilst shopping as we used to on many occasions before coronovirus hit and was not so impressed, it has been taken over so beer not so good (all marston's beers) and smaller food menu. Food was ok but the pub seems to have lost a lot of its old regulars, nowhere near as busy as it used to be. View all feedback. What User likes about The Swan Public House:
Lovely town centre pub serving decent food. I had a sandwich with crunchy hot chips. Husband had the nachos which was tasty but an enormous portion. Enough for Excellent service from waitress, really friendly and helpful. View all feedback.

read moreThe Swan presents a blend of experiences, evoking nostalgia for its former bustling atmosphere while encountering challenges under new management. Some diners praise the delicious food and attentive staff, highlighting the welcoming vibe and hearty portions. However, others lament the reduced beer selection and menu variety, noting instances of poor service, including staff dismissiveness towards patrons' conversations. Despite these inconsistencies, many return for the cozy ambiance and generous dishes, affirming its status as a beloved local pub—ideal for families and friends alike. Regulars remain hopeful for a revival of its former charm.
