"It's a pretty cafe with wooden interiors which gives such good vibes. They have parking space and washrooms in house. I tried their menu special tandoori fish which was delicious and the chutney served with it was amazing. I also had Kumaoni Chicken Curry and jeera rice which was good. I liked the food, ambience and vibes."

"I didn't like my experience here. The food was so bland and generic. I'm not sure why is it so highly priced when they are not even serving good food!! I'd agree that everything apart from food was nice, the service, cleanliness, atmosphere and even washroom, but food is the prime motivation to visit a restaurant. So, I'd say find some other option, this isn't worth it."

"Sick of eating South Indian food at various eateries, went back to Udipiwala. Experience as under : 1. Quite packed as it was lunch time. 2. Decided on our orders and had them taken pronto. 3. Masala Dosa's ordered were served in under 5 minutes. 4. The Dosa Crust, the Sambhar, the red chutney and the Coconut chutney were all excellent. In fact , extra Sambhar and Coconut chutney were provided without even asking. The filling couldn't have been better. 5. Normal water replaced by cold and cokes provided in a jiffy. 6. The ushers were very systematic and helpful. Getting parking in the height of the season is an accomplishment. An altogether great satiating experience for food and excellent service. P.S. : If you prefer a particular cuisine, it's better to stick to the tried and tested ones rather than ruminate on one's folly by reading a review."

"The location is picturesque, however is spoiled with the management. Upon arrival we were given a dark and dingey room, with bare lighting. Upon several requests an electrician was called upon who then finally put an extra light. However, the horror doesn't end here. The room itself seems like hasn't been cleaned in ages. The carpet stinks and the walls are completely clamped and dusty. Moreover, the washrooms don't work. The flush stopped working after 1 time and the water gets clogged in the washroom. Upon complaining about this, the hotel sent someone who not only didn't do any repair work, but made the washroom even more dirty since he wore his shoes and went in. Their linen is in a pathetic condition. Seems like rats have eaten away into it. Paying almost 10k for such a room is completely pathetic. Those coming here, please beware about your stay in this resort which they claim is the best. If you don't believe me, see for yourself in the images posted with this review. The Lake resort thank you for making my stay even more pathetic and miserable. Rooms: Horrible and pathetic rooms. Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 3"
