"Passing through Ankara for a few nights and went to L’avare Sahne based on good reviews. The food and service were excellent. Stated with tapas, tons of flavor and unique dishes of pickled tunny and raw kofte. Followed by the octopus dream and octopus carpaccio which I highly recommend for both taste and fun presentation. Finished with the mushroom ravioli and lion king (brisket) sandwich. Service and ambiance were unique to Ankara an I would highly recommend to others. Only downside was when we asked for dessert they said that the kitchen had closed but they had not mentioned that the kitchen was closing at any time during the meal which was a disappointment. Complimentary tea/coffee was offered but would have preferred better communication."

"Appetizers such as Cretan paste and kipper were standard as if they were made for a catering establishment. Octopus and jumbo shrimp were overcooked. Şevketibostan was well cooked. They had not melted. We couldn't eat the cherries in the fruit at the end of the night because they were full of holes. One of the two slices of watermelon was hollow. Peaches were good. Service was good until it got crowded. Then we waited half an hour for a tea; by the way, we conveyed our tea request to them 3 times. Unfortunately, it was an experience that would not befit their reputation."

"Servis, ilgi, mekân, ambians... Sizi herşeyiyle etki altına alıyor. En yakın arkadaşımla gittik, sanki uzun zamandır görüşmüyor gibi rahatça sohbet ettik. Mekânın büyüsü ülke sınırları içinde olduğunuzu unutturuyor. Yabancı konukların olması da bunda etkili olabilir. Bizimle ilgilenen bayan garson ve masamızla hiç işi olmayan garson bile güleryüzlü ve ilgiliydi. Barmen ve gözlüklü barmaid hanımın enerjisinene ise ayrı parantez açılır. Enerjilerini içkilere katıyorlar olsa gerek bize kadar yansıdı, fazlasıyla keyif aldık."
