"Tavern at the Rocks is my new fav place to have a mouth-watering dinner with a peaceful view and friendly, very personable staff. It's so clean and professional but it still has the feel of a small town tavern where regulars are treated like family and new comers are given every reason to want to come back. The menu is diverse and every dish is a masterpiece tweaked just a notch to the chef's particular and very high standard. Love it!! And the hot fries/chips should not be missed!"

"Waited about 10 mins and warm Danish pastries were brought to us and another 20 mins before the first coffee was brought to us waited another 8 mins and the second coffee was brought out. Dreadful considering they were not even that busy."

"I was glad to see some vegan options on the menu marked but at the end was disappointed. the vegan burger comes with salat, while all regular burgers come with chips. I asked this and they confirmed that the (frozen) chips are cooked in the same oil as meat. Even if someone weren't beaten about it, they would ask more to swallow the salat for chips just because it's the rule." I finished the ordering of sweet potato and lens salad, which only emptied a buck of rocket and sweet potato with tinted lenses on top. no taste. the staff of theke was rude and grim. we ordered drinks from a separate bar and were for a pint at the order and served a middy. we thought it was just ridiculously expensive, but the guy realized his mistake and came after us to tell us we were going for another drink when we were ready. the environment is obviously beautiful and there were many birds that watch and hear how we ate, although unfortunately there was a live music act playing in the outside area that the birds drowned. next time I take a picnic."
